How to Install a Custom Font
Installing a new font in Excel is really easy!
- Go to the location in the file explorer where you downloaded the custom font. If the font is zipped, so you will need extract it first. Right click on the zipped file and choose Extract All from the options.
- Go to the extracted files and double left click on the file with a ttf extension.
- This should be opened in the Windows Font Viewer app.
This will open the Font View app and you should be able to see a preview of the font.
- Click on the Install button in the Font Viewer app.
That’s it! Your new font is now installed on your windows device. Close and reopen Excel and you will find the font available in the Home tab in the Font selection dropdown menu.
